Please see recent photo of Fons at Region Camp, attended by Haberfield Cubs and Scouts.

As most of you know, Fons has MND and is in the process of writing his biography, and particularly the last 30 years with Scouts, which include 5 World and 9 Australian Jamborees and many scout activities including bushwalks, pack & paddle, farm, aboriginal and standing camps.

Fons is a great story-teller but he also wants to include stories from Haberfield Scouts and parents, of how he has influenced your life.  The following are some themes which maybe jolt you memories;

1. aboriginal camp
2. custard/cream
3. home sick at camp
4. cooking & food on camp
5. around the campfire
6. the troop carrier experience
7. things you learnt from Fons
8. life lessons

So please don’t hold back, as Fons would love to hear about your experiences and what you have learnt in Scouts.
